New Namusup Teacher Introduction

A new teacher came to join the small school, “Namusup Seumter” in the valley beside the Frontiers in Yangpyeong. Namusup Seumter is a small school established for thinking, learning, and sharing with people living slowly and deeply with nature. In 2015, the children and teachers will grow up and grow in love together with us. Nice to meet you!

Sewol Ferry March

A march for 20 days and 19 nights from Ansan Memorial Hall to the Paengmok harbor!

Sewol Ferry families announced a new organization, the 416 Family Council, and began to march from Ansan to Paengmok Harbor.  Mothers held each other’s hands and supported each other while others followed wholeheartedly, walking on and on behind them. Other participants and local people held hands in support at many places along the road. For two days from Ansan to Suwon and from the Suwon candlelight vigil to Osan, I (Seunghyeon) walked together with Yebonn, who is entering high school this year. Walking wasn’t easy, but I am thankful that we could be together, still remembering and sharing our hearts.

Construction

Slowly and earnestly the construction is being achieved. Window frames are almost finished, and the process of finishing the ground floor walls and Shine’s installation of the electric wiring are in progress. Please pray that the construction is done safely and the necessary finances and people will be available.

Nona is back

Our loveable bride Nona came back to Saemter after two weeks at her mother’s house. When she came back her husband’s face was so bright. Please pray for Nona’s recovery in body and heart and that God’s perfect plans and secret work will be accomplished.

Shikcho’s visit

Shikcho visited Saemter. Shikcho is a second year student at Gandhi Alternative School. She has a heart for the situation in Gangjeong and made time to help with the Gangjeong activities. When Yebonn participated in the Gangjeong Documentary Film Peace Camp she made friends with Shikcho. She was interested in the Frontiers and Saemter, so she visited for one night and two days. Although it was a short time, I felt thankful and encouraged that the young people stayed at the Gongbang house.

Gahee/Shin/Min Family Holiday

Having worked without rest doing construction and teaching at Namusup, Cheol and Minjung along with Gahee, Shin, Min and the unborn twins- the whole family went to Jeju on vacation. In this time before the twins are born in May, we hope that the family will have a precious time and love each other fully.

1.     Pray for the health of Grandfather and the community members, and the recovery of Jigeon

2.    For construction plans to go well, for needed finances to be found, and for helpers to work safely.

3.    For truth, love, and encouragement to be with the 20 day 19 night march of the 416 Family Council.

4.    The happiest thing is that the children are growing well. Pray for the children to grow healthily and brightly and for the teachers caring for the children.
