After we came back from the ocean training on Monday, we had to complete the remaining work from the ocean training for a day more. We calculated the budget which was used during the training period and delivered it to each person. We also reported what we did in the training and planned for next year.

On the next day, we started the preparation of the February Peace School. Under the theme of ‘SAHABAT YANG JAUH (friends of heart who are from far away)’, we decided to conduct the peace camp at Serempah village again. The schedule, number of participants and the other details were decided in this meeting. With this decision, Romi is visiting the village to get permission for having the peace camp there. He will discuss with the chief of the village about the peace library proposal as well. He moved to the village on the fifteenth of February and will return on the eighteenth of February. During our discussion, we also talked about how to recruit participants. Some suggested that the recruitment could be posted on facebook but some disagreed with this idea. They worried that too many people would respond for this camp then we wouldn’t be able to screen for final participants. And this event could be introduced to unknown people and it would cause misunderstanding. So we decided to not put it on facebook but to deliver it person by person to get participants.

When some of us were in the ocean training, 3R in Aceh had some changes. Mariati has graduated her school and started the preparation to be teacher in Pulau Aceh(Aceh Island). For this reason, Mariati will not stay at 3R center anymore. Putra finally passed his seminar well. He got good results since he has struggled for several months. We all were happy to get the news and congratulated him with one heart.

We also had bad news. Wanda who had a scar on his face became worse due to a virus infection. Half of his face became swollen. It looked terribly painful. In the end, he has decided to go back home for treatment, so his friend helped him to depart late at night.

As we planned, Romi and Irman departed to Serempah village by motorbikes.

We gave them cheer for a safe journey for the long distance travel.

Prayer requests:

1. Pray for Wanda’s recovery

2. Pray that Romi and Irman have a safe journey and have good communication with the chief of the village.
